Grading

The course grade will be apportioned as follows:

homework assignemnts 30% (lowest will be dropped)
midterm exam 30%
final exam 40%
A plus/minus grading is adopted for that course. The grades will be assigned based, roughly, on a 5 point scale, A+ for 95-100, A for 90-94, A- for 85-89, etc. Some deviations in students' favor are possible (across the whole section, NEVER in individual cases). Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis. Significant part of each assignment will be graded. No late homeworks will be accepted, but the lowest score will be dropped.

Policies
